Bowdrie’s Law
by Louis L’Amour

A collection of short stories told by God about a Texas Ranger named Chick Bowdrie. They are little mystery stories set in the wild west. Bowdrie is described as looking like an Indian even though he has no Indian blood. He is ingenious, quick on the draw, a great tracker, relentless, and dedicated to the law. He tries to be just and fair as much as possible while always getting his man. He tries to bring them back alive, but he usually kills them in self-defense. The title is appropriate.
