Mark Twain
by Clinton Cox

A straight-forward biography suitable for teens and me. Well placed photographs help. The author scolds Clemens for holding racial prejudices, but ultimately finds him marginally acceptable to sanctimonious civil rights woosies. Other than the authorís politically correct ideas intruding from time to time I liked this biography for its simplicity.
