Mucho Mojo
by Joe R. Lansdale

A suspense novel told by a middle-aged white man named Hap Collins about how he and his friend Leonard Pine uncover a serial killer in east Texas in the 1980s. Leonard is a middle-aged black man who claims to be homosexual. The dialog is amusing and makes the book move easily. The two heroes are like Parkerís duo Spenser and Hawk in their banter and their fighting skills.

Year Read: 2008
