The October Twelve
by Phil Rizzuto and Tom Horton

Rizzuto‘s stream-of-consciousness account of the 5 consecutive world series victories for the NY Yankees from 1949-1953. It features the 12 players who were on the roster for all five of those years. Very enjoyable for Yankee fans, but hard to follow until the final chapters which consist of summaries of the 5 World Series’ games.
