Rothbard vs. the Philosophers
by Murray Rothbard

A small collection of letters by Rothbard to the Volker Fund in which he reviews books and articles by contemporary social theorists. Rothbard was paid by the fund to review such things and to advise whether they should be distributed by the Volker Fund. The editor of this collection, Roberta Modugno, contributed a 46-page introduction that laboriously rehashes points that Rothbard makes more clearly.

I was gratified to see that I had the same thoughts as Rothbard regarding the moral and political philosophies of Leo Strauss, Hayek, and Mises.
