Albert Schweitzer: The Man and His Mind
by George Seaver

An excellent, enthusiastic biography and analysis of Schweitzer. The author writes and thinks almost as well as Schweitzer himself. The first part is a biography. The second part deals with his books. He quotes Schweitzer at length frequently. There are excellent selections from Schweitzer's speeches and writings in the appendixes.

Year Read: 1978
