Along Came a Spider
by James Patterson

First of the Alex Cross thrillers. A psycho kidnaps a boy and girl from a private school. 5% of the plot of the book is reflected in the movie and 10% of the plot of the movie is reflected in the novel. Cross is Patterson’s ideal hero. He is pretty good, but too much of a bleeding heart and racist.

Year Read: 2007
