The Autonomy of Reason
by Robert Paul Wolff

An excellent commentary on Kant's Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals. Wolff often succeeds in clarifying Kant's positions. Sometimes even a good writer like Wolff can't make Kant clear. Heavy reading, but worthwhile.

Year Read: 1980
