The Bad Place
by Dean Koontz

A horror novel told by God about an evil man with superhuman powers who drinks blood from living animals and people and kills them. He is particularly seeking to kill his brother for murdering their mother. The brother comes to a private investigating company for protection. The company is owned by a young couple, Bobby and Julie Dakota. Julie has a brother Thomas with Downs syndrome and unknown telepathic powers that enable him to sense the location of the evil killer.

The title refers to Thomas’ phrase for death. Lots of murder, telekinesis, and surprises. Well done.
