A day-by-day chronicle of the squabble among the 1977 NY Yankees. Billy Martin, Reggie Jackson, Thurmond Munson, and George Steinbrenner were the main disputants in various combinations. Grieg Nettles, Dick Tidro, Lou Pinella and other also contributed. Somehow the Yankees managed to win the World Series anyway.

The author is a sports reported for Newsday. The book has lots of typos.
