Deception Point
by Forrest Carter

A very good thriller told by God about a plot to save NASA by fraudulently staging the discovery of a meteorite with fossils on it proving there is life in outer space. It takes place during a presidential election in which the incumbent favors NASA and the challenger opposes it. The challenger is depicted as a heartless politician, but the President is depicted as honest. I didnít like the ending or the pro-government slant to the book.
