The Frighteners
by Donald Hamilton

One of the best Matt Helm novel I have read so far. It is 2 or 3 times longer than the earlier ones, but it is tightly written. Helm impersonates an older Texas oil tycoon in Mexico and gets double crossed by the US agency he is on loan too in a complicated plot than hangs together.

Year Read: 2007
