A history of the major scandals involving Hollywood stars. I expected it to be gossipy, but instead it relies on the public record. It is half photos. It shows that people back in the 20s and 30s were no better at handling sudden wealth and fame than the stars of today. They overindulged in sex and drugs, and they died young.
