The House of Thunder
by Dean Koontz

A suspense novel told by God about a young woman who wakes up in a hospital bed with memory loss and visions of dead men who have come back to life to torture and kill her. We are not sure whether she is imagining them or if they are ghosts or if they are part of a huge conspiracy to drive her crazy. The title refers to caves with thunderous waterfalls where the woman’s boyfriend was murdered in front of her eyes 13 years earlier by the men who now appear again in the hospital. Well done.
