In Defense of Women
by H. L. Mencken

I enjoyed his writing style and opinions, although I did not agree with them all. He says that women are more intelligent than men, since marriage is entirely to the women's advantage and yet they manage to convince (trick) men into it. He says that men aren't really intelligent, they are just good at learning skills to earn a living, while women are intelligent, because they understand men and how to use them to their advantage.
