Jonathan Livingston Seagull
by Richard Bach

A rewrite of the New Testament with the part of Jesus played by a seagull. The message is that you can reach perfection if you keep trying. It is more plausible than the New Testament, because Jonathan does not claim to be the son of the Great Gull. Still, it is a fairy tale, as any book must be that puts mind over nature.

Year Read: 1973
