The 11th crime novel told by Kay Scarpetta The title refers to a private crime fighting company the her niece is financing in NYC. The same serial killer with werewolf disease who was featured in Black Notice is a central figure here. The man that slut Scarpetta had a one-night stand with in that novel turns out to be the werewolf’s brother and a mole inside the ATF for his crime family. He frames her for the murder of an evil woman who has taken over the Virginia Police department. It is a page turner.
