A biography of Mickey Mantle. The author shows Mantle’s good and bad sides.
The book has lots of details. She put a lot of work into this book.
The organization is poor because it jumps around in time for not apparent
reason. She hired a private detective to track down the man who saw where
the “tape-measure” home run landed. She hired a scientist to create kinetic
diagrams of Mantle’s swing from the left side and from the right.
Did she use her own money? Maybe. She is a big fan.
