The Libertarian Theology of Freedom
by Edmund Opitz

A few short essays decrying the takeover of the church by theologians who promote the Social Gospel of statism. He tries to show that true Christianity is capitalistic rather than socialistic. He does not succeed. The book is useful for identifying some of the key characters who have pushed for Christian socialism and what their main ideas were. His attempt to make manís relationship to God seem important fails because there is no meaning to the idea.
