The Man from the Broken Hills
by Louis L’Amour

A good western novel set in Texas. The story is told by Milo Talon. The plot is relatively tight for a L’Amour novel. The writing is solid. It is one of his best stories. Talon is working for a small cattle ranch that is being rustled. Two other ranches in the area are also being rustled, especially of their young calves. They all suspect each other.

Year Read: 2004
