The New Testament

Considerably better than The Old Testament in terms of writing style, readability, and content. Most of the theology and morality is irrational and too closely allied with OT superstitions. It is an improvement, but not enough of an improvement to raise Christianity to a philosophy of civilization.

The personality of Jesus and the miracles in this book make it a fantasy, whereas the personality of Jehovah and the miracles in The Old Testament make it a horror novel.

Year Read: 1978
