The Quickie
by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge

A fast-paced story told by a female homicide detective from the Bronx involving the murder of her lover by her husband -- both men having deceived her deeply. The two problems with the novel are (1) she is not sympathetic because she cheats on her husband and (2) the book is written in a woman’s voice by two men.
