Reason and Value

An essay that argues that Ayn Randís epistemology is flawed and this caused flaws in her ethics. He also argues that the corrective to both the epistemology and ethics of Rand can be found in Aristotle.

The epistemology argument doesnít engage me. I agree with his point that the morals of the heroes in Randís novels are better that the moral theory she gives in her nonfiction writings.

Two die-hard Randians respond to Longís paper by defending Rand. Long replies to their arguments at the end.
