The second sequel to The Keep. The setting includes Long Island, NYC, and North Carolina. Father Ryan, who played a big role in Reborn, is the central character here. One of the boys from the orphanage is adopted by a couple the wife of whom turns out to be Rasalom, and she leaves him suffering unending torture. The priest tries to end the boy’s suffering by burying him in hallowed groans. Then he has to go on the run. Five years later he is working as a groundskeeper at a university in NC. A woman math professor becomes his friend and she is seduced by Rasalom in another disguise. The NYC cop on the case catches up with Ryan. It ends with Rasalom about to start taking over the world now that he realizes he has no viable opposition.
