The Sackett Brand
by Louis LíAmour

A good short novel told mostly by William Tell Sackett and partly by God. A sequel to Sackett and Mojave Crossing. Tell is bushwhacked, and his wife is murdered, and the man responsible has 40 gunmen hunting Tell. This is the most enjoyable Sackett story so far because Tellís brothers and cousines and Sacketts he never met come from all parts of the country to help him when they hear he is being hunted. The Brand part of the title is irrelevant.
