Shattered
by Dean Koontz

A suspense novel told by God about two girls traveling across the country from Philadelphia to San Fancisco in a Thunderbird who are pursued by a maniac who wants to kill them. The two girls, unfortunately, are not girls but girly men. They are hypersensitive to people who look at them funny because of their long hair and wimpyness. The police are no help. They have to defend themselves. They rise to the occasion.
