Trader to the Stars
by Poul Anderson

Three stories about Nicholas van Rijn, an interplanetary businessman who speaks broken English in a colorful and funny way. He is a hard-core capitalist and Poul Anderson is definitely sympathetic to the libertarian aspect of free trade. Poul also has solid ideas about the relationships between reason, instincts and evolution.

An enjoyable little book that I recommend.

Year Read: 2001
