by Edmund Burke

A libertarian classic. Burke argues under a fictitious identity that artificial society (the state) leads to war and lawyers. His prose is superb. This particular Liberty Press edition has a lousy introduction and nitpicking footnotes by some conservative ass.

Year Read: 1983
